Synergy Biologics Achieves MHRA MIA Certification – Expanding Licensed Pharmaceutical Capabilities

We are proud to announce that Synergy Biologics has had a successful MHRA inspection for MIA licence and is about to be granted an MHRA Manufacturer’s/Importer’s Authorisation (MIA) — a major milestone in our growth as a fully licensed pharmaceutical partner.

This achievement complements our existing MHRA Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA(H)), confirming that Synergy Biologics is going to be authorised to manufacture, import, certify and distribute human medicinal products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

What Is an MHRA MIA?

An MHRA MIA (Manufacturer’s/Importer’s Authorisation) permits the UK manufacture and/or import of human medicinal products. It also enables us to conduct Qualified Person (QP) certification — a legal requirement for the release of medicines into the UK market.

What Is an MHRA WDA(H)?

An MHRA Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (Human), or WDA(H), allows us to store and distribute medicines compliantly throughout the UK. It ensures our supply chain adheres to GDP, safeguarding product quality and patient safety.

What This Means for Our Pharmaceutical Partners

With both authorisations in place, we can now support:
